‘Hello! I am Keemi’Keemi! I am serving drinks today!’ the avio gave a happy flap of her wings.

‘I’m Stars!’ Stars’ face lit up. ‘And this is Koko, Baku, Lif, Trat, Sken, Annanyn, Coborn, and my best friend— Ka’harja!’

‘Oh best friend!’ Keemi’Keemi beamed. ‘I have seven those! They very fun have! Lots and lots of love!’

Stars nodded. ‘Is it okay if I ask what keemi means, Q?’

‘Oh, yes! Very okay!’ Keemi’Keemi nodded. ‘Keemi when you small, and parents give you three kisses on nose to make giggles!’

‘So your name is …’ Ka’harja hesitated.

‘Six giggle kisses!’ Keemi’Keemi beamed.

‘If she’d killed me with her own hands, I’d have settled,’ Kay’oten growled. ‘But she cheated! Calling Klict— If I didn’t hold back whenever I felt my form changing— I’d have won a lot more fights. But I have my HONOUR. I’ve always played fair! That bitch CHEATED!’

Kay’oten is a dragon-shifter, just like Distro. Here’s her form!

I sketched Mingan while I was at the airport, and just threw some colour on her now to pass the time while waiting for an appointment :)

Young Sken and her mother, showing why Sken ended up the way she did.

‘I’m just sorry it took me so long to come back,’ Sken muttered. ‘I was … scared.’ ‘Oh, stingray, you don’t ever need to be scared of coming home,’ Vayvie told her. ‘I ran away,’ Sken muttered. ‘I thought you’d be angry at me.’ ‘Of course I was angry,’ she chuckled, then coughed. ‘But you were just a little girl. And I was worried about you. Running off with a man like that— Stupid decision. I hope you’ve learnt from it.’ Sken looked away. ‘Look at me!’ her mother demanded, then softened her voice when Sken obeyed. ‘Don’t ever look so ashamed of yourself again, you hear me? You are a Lyzik! Lyzik means pride!’ ‘Actually, it means “clam eater,”’ Sken chuckled. ‘I looked it up.’ ‘Clam is delicious!’ Vayvie said, flicking her tail. ‘There is no shame in eating clams!’

‘You may even meet him again one day, perhaps. I hope so. A mother deserves better than to never know her child’s name.’

The little boy who was ripped from Scaychie's arms after birth ... and who somehow ended up finding his way home again.
